Yufei Jia

Yufei Jia is a Senior Optical Manufacturing Engineer at Amazon, contributing to Project Kuiper. With eight years of experience in designing, fabricating, and characterizing optical devices, Yufei has conducted pioneering research on perovskite lasers, polarimeters, and solar concentrators. Previously, Yufei held postdoctoral positions at the University of Southern California and Penn State University, where they were recognized as the first inventor of a continuous wave perovskite laser. Yufei's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Laser and Optical Engineering from Zhejiang University.
