Zertashia Awan is currently the Director of Customer Experience for Amazon, overseeing operations across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. They began their career at Telefónica, where they held various roles in customer service and project management from 2004 to 2011. Zertashia has significant experience in operations management and customer service, having served in multiple senior leadership roles at Amazon between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, they are a startup mentor at the Abu Dhabi SME Hub and are working on an upcoming book that explores the human truth within systems. Zertashia earned an MBA from Northumbria University in 2006.
