Zhaowei Cai

Zhaowei Cai is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon AGI, where they focus on multimodal foundation models. Previously, Zhaowei held positions at Amazon Web Services as an Applied Scientist and completed internships at Facebook, IBM T. J. Watson Research Center, and Microsoft. Zhaowei earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, following a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Dalian Maritime University. Their research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and efficient neural networks.
