Ziyan Huang

Ziyan Huang is a seasoned professional in the field of applied science, currently serving as a Senior Manager in Applied Science at Amazon. Ziyan began their career as an Economic Consultant intern at Resolution Economics, where rigorous analysis of gender and racial discrimination was performed. They then held multiple roles at Amazon, including Economist I and Tech Lead Manager, leading significant projects that achieved substantial cost reductions and enhanced customer engagement metrics. Ziyan's expertise further expanded at Microsoft as a Principal Applied Science Manager, where they advanced AI/ML applications in data center operations. Ziyan earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a BA in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford.
