Jacky Lai

Jacky Lai is a Technical Manager at Ambarella Inc since May 2008, with significant contributions in lens calibration for computer vision and E-mirror adaptive stitching. From 2015 to 2019, Jacky led the Supercam project as Team Manager, and previously managed the IP Cam Linux SDK, achieving a milestone with the first 4Kp30 HDR demo at the CPSE show. Additionally, from 2013 to 2014, Jacky developed a broadcasting SDK for video transcoding applications and worked on audio codec libraries during the initial years at Ambarella. Prior to Ambarella, Jacky served as a Senior Engineer at ALi Corporation from 2003 to 2008, focusing on maintaining audio codec libraries and chip bringup for audio components. Jacky holds a Master's degree from National Sun Yat-Sen University in VLSI Lab and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from I-Shou University.
