Yanglu Piao

Yanglu Piao is a Staff Software Engineer at Ambarella Inc, with extensive experience in software development and optimization for compilers. Since February 2018, Yanglu has contributed to projects such as the development of a compile time performance estimator and optimization passes that improved runtime performance by up to 5x. Previously, as a Senior Software Engineer, Yanglu led initiatives in the development and optimization of the CV3 VAS compiler and collaborated with the architecture team to integrate software support for new hardware features. Yanglu’s technical expertise is grounded in a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Measurement and Control Technology and Instrumentation from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
