Tess Peer

Tess Peer has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. ✨ Tess currently holds the position of Engineering Team Lead at Amber Electric since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at the same company. Before joining Amber Electric, Tess worked as a Developer at Oculo, a healthcare platform, from September 2019 to June 2020. During their time at Oculo, they were involved in modifying the application for regulatory environments and launching it in new countries. Tess also gained experience as a Senior Developer and Developer at REA Group, where they worked on financial systems software written mostly in Ruby. ✨ Tess'swork at REA Group involved microservice/DDD bounded-context service architecture. Tess began their tech career as a Web Development Immersive Student at General Assembly, where they learned various web development technologies. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Service and Support Officer at RMIT University, providing technical support and resolving inquiries related to the university's technology infrastructure.

Tess Peer attended General Assembly from 2016 to 2017, where they studied web development. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Adelaide, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. They also received a B.Sc Honours degree from the University of Adelaide in 2010.
