Mathew Goncalves

Mathew Goncalves has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being the Co-Founder of Amber, The Health and Safety Communication Platform, starting from 2020. In this role, they are involved in the research and development of a software as a service (SaaS) Global Health and Safety Communication Platform. Prior to this, they worked at Health and Safety Dialogue Company from 2018, focusing on research and development in areas such as the "New view" of safety, safety culture, and more. From 2006 to 2012, Mathew was the Night Staff Manager at Exclusive Books.

Mathew Goncalves completed their education at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2006 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Chemical studies. In 2018, they attended The British Standards Institution to complete the CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Training Course, focusing on auditing. Additionally, they obtained the certification in the same field from the institution in November 2018. Furthermore, in September 2021, they completed the "Managing Mental Health and Wellness at Work" certification from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
