Rene Schipper

Rene Schipper has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and operations. Rene has recently worked as the CFO at Amberscript since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Operating Officer and CFO at Brand New Day from January 2009 to June 2023. In this role, they were responsible for various departments including Operations, Customer Administration, Internal Controls, Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and Legal Affairs.

Before their tenure at Brand New Day, Rene worked as an Interim Financial Advisor at BinckBank from March 2008 to April 2009. Rene also served as a Finance Manager/Director at Various Companies from April 2007 to February 2008.

Additionally, Rene held the role of Financial Director at BinckBank from January 2004 to March 2007. Rene was a key member in the founding of Binck Bank and worked as the Financial Director, overseeing finance, operations, risk management, and human resources.

Rene's early career included the position of Billing Manager at @Home from March 1999 to June 2000, and Finance Manager at Warner Home Video from August 1992 to February 1999. Rene started at Warner Home Video as an Assistant Accountant and was later promoted to Chief Accountant Holland.

Rene began their career as an Assistant Accountant at Deloitte & Touche from September 1990 to July 1992.

Rene Schipper has a comprehensive education history spanning several institutions and degrees. Starting in 1982, they attended VWO, where they completed their Atheneum A field of study in 1988. Following this, they pursued higher education at Hogeschool Markus Verbeek from 1994 to 1997, obtaining a baccalareus (bc) degree in SPD Bedrijfsadministratie. In 1997, Rene also attended HBO, specializing in Bedrijfseconomie and earning a Bachelor (B) degree. Simultaneously, they completed a Post HBO - Controller program at Hogeschool Markus Verbeek, which they finished in 1998.

Later that year, Rene continued their studies at the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued a degree in Business Economics. Rene attended from 1998 to 2005 and obtained a degree known as Drs.

Throughout their educational journey, Rene Schipper also acquired various certifications to enhance their expertise in specific domains.
