Caio Batista

Caio Batista is an experienced professional in the agricultural and sustainability sectors, currently serving as the South America Agricultural & Sustainability Manager at Ambev since August 2017. In this role, Caio oversees agricultural origination programs for barley and corn, along with managing sustainability initiatives focused on regenerative agriculture and the development of smallholder farmers. Prior to this position, Caio held various roles at Cervejaria Ambev, including Agrobusiness Specialist and Agricultural Engineer, where responsibilities ranged from barley origination and stock management to supporting the brewing industry’s raw material needs. Caio's career began with a Trainee Industrial position, following the completion of a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade de Brasília in 2012.
