Rodrigo Castro

Rodrigo Castro serves as the Gerente de Engenharia e Meio Ambiente at Ambev since February 2023, following a previous role as Engineering and Environmental Manager. With extensive experience in managing laboratories, utilities, and environmental sustainability initiatives, Rodrigo has led teams of up to 100 individuals and implemented key projects, such as transforming the brewery into the second Carbon Neutral brewer in South America. Notable achievements include significant improvements in operational engagement and productivity, as well as the successful introduction of continuous improvement methodologies. Prior roles at Ambev involve leadership in maintenance reliability and engineering, along with experience at General Electric in lean manufacturing. Eduardo holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal Fluminense and the University of Liverpool, an MBA in Business Management from Universidade de São Paulo, and completed HBX CORe at Harvard Business School.
