Derek Hetzler

Derek Hetzler has a diverse range of work experience. Derek currently works as the Chief of Staff & Product at AMERICAN BINARY, starting in April 2023. Prior to this, Derek worked at Facebook from June 2017 to June 2023, where they served as a Business Products Engineering - Internal Product Manager. In this role, they developed and managed the internal Knowledge Graph to drive growth and mitigate risks across various revenue-generating and risk mitigation units. Before Facebook, Derek worked at Anaplan as a Business Partner from September 2016 to May 2017, responsible for implementing optimal solutions for clients using multi-dimensional modeling software. Derek also worked as a Consultant at Anaplan from July 2015 to September 2016, focusing on developing customers' understanding of their business processes. Derek's earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Financial Platforms Analyst at Standish Management, LLC from March 2014 to July 2015, and as an FP&A Consultant at Premier Staffing Inc. from December 2013 to March 2014. Derek began their career at Fusion-io as an Intern Financial Analyst from June 2012 to November 2013, where they conducted financial analysis and created forecast models.

Derek Hetzler obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of California, Riverside. Derek completed their undergraduate studies in the field from 2008 to 2013.
