Phil Hagger

Phil Hagger has diverse work experience in the technology and innovation field. Phil is currently working at Ambrey as the Director of Technology & Innovation, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, they were an Associate Director of Technology & Innovation at the same company from November 2020 to April 2022. Phil also served as a Systems Development Manager at Ambrey from July 2019 to November 2020.

In this role, they focused on the development and management of the AngularJS intranet platform within an Office 365, SharePoint environment. Phil previously worked as a Digital and Intranet Developer at Innogy Business Services UK Limited from June 2016 to January 2018, where they successfully delivered a SharePoint intranet that integrated with various internal systems and catered to the needs of up to 10,000 employees.

Earlier in their career, Phil worked at BT in various roles. Phil served as a Satellite Network Design specialist from July 2013 to May 2016, where they were responsible for low-level satellite network design and the development of remote control and monitoring software. Phil also contributed to maintaining the Quality of Service (QoS) for existing satellite networks worldwide and developed an internal web-based application for network management. Phil worked as a Software Developer at BT from May 2011 to July 2013 and as a Satellite Planning & Implementation Engineer from September 2008 to May 2011. Phil also served as a DFTS Field Engineer and started their career at BT as a Modern Apprentice from September 2005 to September 2008.
