Steven Harrison, PhD FACMG has a diverse work experience in the field of genetics and molecular research. Steven currently serves as a Laboratory Director at Ambry Genetics, starting in April 2021. Prior to this, they held positions at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. At Harvard Medical School, they were an Instructor in Pathology from October 2018 to March 2021. At the Broad Institute, they served as an Associate Director of the Clinical Research Sequencing Platform from July 2018 to March 2021. Before these roles, they were a Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow at Harvard Medical School from July 2016 to June 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Variant Scientist at the Partners Center for Personalized Genetic Medicine from April 2014 to July 2016. Steven's earlier experience includes being a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center from August 2009 to April 2014.
Steven Harrison, PhD FACMG received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Genetics from UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2019, they obtained the certification of Diplomate - Clinical Molecular Genetics and Genomics from the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
