Annette Bitz

Annette Bitz is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biosafety and sustainability within the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Head of Biosafety and Sustainability at Ambu A/S since January 2012, Annette has developed and implemented strategies for biosafety and sustainability, managing a global team while ensuring compliance with various regulations. Prior roles at Ambu include Head of Biosafety and Principal Biosafety Specialist, where Annette focused on biological evaluations, toxicological risk assessments, and regulatory submissions. Annette's career began at ConvaTec and continued at Coloplast A/S, where responsibilities included environmental management and biosafety procedures. Annette holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management, alongside qualifications in project and quality management, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
