Dr. Veronica Bessone is a highly experienced professional in the field of biomechanics and human factors engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer and Human Factors Engineering Lead at Ambu A/S since June 2020, Dr. Bessone also holds a position as a Scientific Consultant for the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) since December 2023. Previously, Dr. Bessone was a PhD candidate and research assistant at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on the biomechanical analysis of landing in ski jumping. A Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering was obtained from Politecnico di Torino, complemented by extensive teaching and training experience in cross-country skiing and shooting. Additional roles included timekeeping in competitive sports and internships in sport biomechanics consultancy.
