Heng Zhang

Heng Zhang is a Senior Biosafety Specialist at Ambu A/S since March 2021, responsible for managing biological evaluation and toxicological risk assessments of Ambu devices and validating cleaning and disinfection protocols. Prior experience includes roles as a Biosafety Specialist at Ambu A/S, Project Manager at SAXOCON, and Research Scientist positions at Novozymes and the University of Copenhagen. Heng Zhang's research focuses on enzyme development and the processing of lignocellulosic biomass for biofuel production, supported by a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen and a Master’s degree from Uppsala University. Academic contributions include postdoctoral research related to biofuels and innovative pretreatment technologies, alongside collaborations with notable industry partners such as Novozymes and Bioethanol Denmark.
