Jonathon Casey

Jonathon Casey has a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management. Jonathon has held various roles in different companies, starting with Parker Healthcare as a Mechanical Design Engineer from 2006 to 2007. At Demeco Aps, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer and later as a Technical Project Manager from 2007 to 2015. Jonathon then joined BK Ultrasound as a Senior Mechanical Engineer from 2015 to 2017, where they led the mechanical construction and testing of their product line. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at 3Shape. Currently, Jonathon is working at Ambu A/S as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer, Technical Lead from 2020 onwards. Jonathon has also held positions as a Systems Engineering Manager and is currently serving as the Head of Systems Engineering, Engineering & Imaging at Ambu A/S. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for designing and developing medical products and has demonstrated a strong ability to manage projects effectively.

Jonathon Casey completed their education at Monash University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) (Honours) and a Bachelor's degree in Design (Industrial Design). Prior to that, from 1999 to 2000, they attended St Michael's Grammar School, completing their VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) with a focus on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Design and Technology. In addition to their formal education, Jonathon also earned certifications in regulatory requirements and quality system regulation from the U.S. Food And Drug Administration Center for Devices and Radiological Health in 2011.
