Márcio Costa

Márcio Costa has extensive work experience as a Front-End Developer and UI Designer. Márcio started their career in 2012 at Index Comunicação Digital, where they worked as a UI Designer until 2014. Márcio then joined HE:labs as a UI Designer, responsible for interface design and front-end development, using agile methods and Rails.

In 2016, Márcio joined Vizir Software Studio as a Front-End Developer. During their time there, they worked with React/Redux and GraphQL, and gained experience in testing React components using Jest and Enzyme. Márcio stayed with Vizir until 2019.

From 2019 to 2021, Márcio worked at Social Miner as a Front-End Developer, where they created a marketing campaign editor using React and maintained and improved legacy code.

In 2021, Márcio joined C6 Bank as a Tech Engineer. In this role, they served as a senior Front-End Developer on the Web Platform squad. Their responsibilities included advocating for best development practices, participating in architectural decisions, hiring new developers, and conducting code refactors. Márcio also focused on improving developer experience, maintaining legacy code, writing and updating frontend documentation, ensuring frontend observability, and assisting with in-production incidents. Márcio worked at C6 Bank until 2022.

Currently, Márcio works at Ambush as a Sr Front-End Developer, starting in 2022.

From 2008 to 2010, Márcio Costa attended Fanor, where they studied Graphic Design.
