Ben Schmalz

Ben Schmalz is a seasoned strategic executive with extensive global experience in information security and technology management. Currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer at Amcor since June 2019, Schmalz has a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide transformational initiatives that align technology with strategic business needs to enhance ROI and profitability. Previously, Schmalz held various roles at Bemis Company, Inc., including Director of IT Security and Infrastructure, and has experience overseeing strategic security projects and managing IT security architecture. Other notable positions include Defense Security Manager at Oshkosh Defense and Enterprise IT Security Manager at Oshkosh Corporation, where Schmalz was instrumental in implementing security programs and compliance strategies. Schmalz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
