Tim Makris

Tim Makris is a seasoned financial governance leader with extensive experience in internal audit and risk management across several prominent organizations. Currently, Tim serves as Director of Group Financial Governance at Amcor, overseeing the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting for the Americas. Previously, Tim held executive roles at Bemis Company, Inc. as Vice President of Internal Audit, and at KPMG as Partner for Internal Audit, Risk, and Compliance. Tim's career includes significant positions at BP, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Arthur Andersen, demonstrating a strong capability in developing internal control frameworks and ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards. Tim holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
