Ty Burford is a skilled process engineer with significant experience in the field of metal injection molding and polymer/plastics engineering. Ty began their career as a process engineering intern at Advanced Powder Products, Inc. in May 2019, developing new processes for tools. Following that, Ty held multiple positions, including process engineering intern at Micro Mold & Plastikos and process development engineer at Alpha Precision Group from March 2021 to July 2023. Currently, Ty works as a process engineer at Amcor since August 2025 and has also served at Allegheny Performance Plastics® as a process engineer from July 2023 to August 2025. Ty holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, earned in 2021.
