Michael Bates

Michael Bates serves as the Head of APAC Region at AMCS Group since July 2018, focusing on driving sustainability and automation in resource-intensive industries. Prior to this role, Bates held positions as General Manager at Telstra, where oversight of the AFN Solutions partnership led to significant revenue growth, and as Oceania Sales Director at Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., where Bates established the company's first office in the region and achieved a remarkable 314% revenue increase. Additional experience includes National Sales Manager and Line Acquisition Manager at ADT Security, General Manager at AFN Security, and Sydney Manager at TNT. Michael Bates earned a Master's degree in Transport & Logistics from the University of Sydney.
