Herman Singh has a long and varied work experience. Herman began their career in 2000 as an Intern and Researcher at the National Institutes of Health, NICHD. In 2008, they became an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. In 2009, they became a Peer Research Reviewer and Standing Member at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality - Health Care Effectiveness and Outcomes Research (HEOR). From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician providing high-quality medical treatment to patients. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Vice President at AMDEX Corp, where they established and spearheaded a division centered on data modernization to various federal health agencies. In 2021, they were appointed President at Avar Consulting, Inc.
Herman Singh attended the University of Maryland from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Statistics, Information Technology. Herman then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and Georgetown University McDonough School of Business from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine and a Masters of Business Administration, respectively. Additionally, Herman Singh holds an Active Medical License in New York, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
