Amec (Association of Market Investors) was created 14 years ago to ensure the rights of minority shareholders and promote the development of the Brazilian Capital Markets. Its performance is based on respect for the best Corporate Governance practices, identifying and proposing relevant topics of interest to stakeholders, in addition to influencing and defending technical debates between investors, companies, and regulators.

The association has about 60 institutional investors, local and foreign, who have investment mandates in the Brazilian stock market of approximately R$ 700 billion.
