Ari Abelman

Ari Abelman is a skilled hospice chaplain with extensive experience in providing spiritual and pastoral care across various settings. Currently serving at Amedisys since July 2020, Ari previously held positions at Northwell Health as a Chaplain Resident, and at Brandeis University Hillel as a Slifka Rabbinic Intern, where educational programming and pastoral support were key responsibilities. Earlier experiences include clinical pastoral education in both hospice and hospital environments, serving as a student rabbi, and directing prayer and religious life at Camp Ramah. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Rabbinic Ordination from The Jewish Theological Seminary and a BA from Brandeis University.
