Alan Leavitt

Alan Leavitt is a seasoned executive and legal professional with extensive experience in the food, beverage, and fashion industries. As the CEO and Co-Founder of New School American Cheese since October 2019, Leavitt drives brand vision and strategic growth across various channels. In addition, Leavitt serves as General Counsel and Manager at The Collected Group, handling all legal matters amidst a transformative phase for the company. Leavitt has a strong background in investment and advisory roles, including as a consultant for Trently Advisors and a board member for several companies, including Barnana. Previous positions include General Counsel at FORMA Brands and Vice President at Beach Point Capital Management, specializing in restructuring and distressed credit investments. Leavitt holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA in Political Science from Tufts University.
