Avery Dancy

Avery Dancy is an experienced logistics professional with a robust background in supply chain management and transportation operations. Currently serving as a Logistics Manager at Amentum since August 2018, Dancy oversees the supply chain process for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, coordinating activities between contract and asset management groups to support global procurement. Previously, Dancy held the position of Movement Control Coordinator at Fluor Corporation, managing logistical operations for munitions in Afghanistan and ensuring quality assurance during transportation. Dancy's experience also includes work as a Transportation Coordinator at AECOM, where automated systems were utilized to track equipment movement, and as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army, leading a team in movement control operations. Dancy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supply Chain Logistics from Kennesaw State University and an Associate of Arts from Barton Community College.
