Brett Cara

Brett Cara is an experienced security and intelligence professional with a comprehensive background in personnel security and investigations. Currently serving as a Personnel Security Specialist at Amentum since December 2023, Brett is responsible for reviewing and analyzing requests for security clearance investigations, including assessing onboard employees and access applicants. Previous experience includes working as a HUMINT/CI Reports Officer at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Brett analyzed counter-terrorism data and ensured the quality of intelligence reports. Additional roles span intelligence analysis at IntelliBridge, background investigation at CACI International Inc and General Dynamics, and service as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the US Army. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Intelligence Theory from American Military University and a degree in History and Political Science from Jacksonville University.
