Don Welch

Don Welch has over four decades of experience in business development and capture management, primarily within the Department of Defense (DoD) Test and Training Range market. Currently, at Amentum since February 2020, Welch manages a DoD Test and Training Range Operations & Maintenance account with a market potential exceeding $22 billion and has successfully led teams to secure over $12 billion in contracts. Prior experience includes significant roles at AECOM, JT3, URS Corporation, EG&G Technical Services, and a distinguished career as an officer in the United States Air Force. Welch holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, a Master of Science in Systems Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, along with a DoD certification as a Level III Program Manager.
