Frederic Wheeler

Frederic Wheeler is the Directorate Head at Amentum, bringing over 32 years of experience in safety case management across the nuclear and rail sectors. They previously held key positions at Horizon Nuclear Power and NuGeneration, focusing on the development of major nuclear reactor safety cases. Frederic also served as a Managing Consultant at Amec Foster Wheeler, leading safety case teams and overseeing projects related to the AP1000 GDA. Their extensive career includes roles as Principal Consultant at Serco and a long tenure at AEA Technology, where they specialized in nuclear and rail assessments. Frederic earned a BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics from Liverpool Polytechnic.
