Jess Thomson

Jess Thomson is a Principal GIS Consultant at Amentum, drawing on over nine years of experience as a Geospatial Analyst in the British Army. They developed extensive knowledge of GIS processes and analytical techniques while building leadership and management skills. An advanced user of the ESRI suite, Jess has supported military planning and operations and created various ESRI applications and dashboards. They hold a BSc (Hons) in Applied Computing (GIS) from Sheffield Hallam University and have recently pursued a project management qualification. Currently serving as a data manager, Jess is also learning Python and seeking new challenges outside of the military.
