John L. is a seasoned Sr. Systems Engineer at Amentum, currently supporting the Space Launch System (SLS) Artemis Program. With over 30 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, John has previously held key roles at Lockheed Martin, where duties included optimizing military aircraft systems, and served as a Commander in the U.S. Navy, focusing on national security intelligence. John’s early career included roles as an Associate Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and a Senior Engineer at the Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute, where contributions to Modeling & Simulation (M&S) and advanced weapon systems laid the groundwork for a distinguished career. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a degree in Operations Research from Southern Methodist University.
