John Stewart is currently the Assistant General Counsel at Amentum, having previously served as Senior Legal Counsel at Jacobs and Director – Corporate Counsel for BMI Group. Their extensive legal career began with a Trainee Solicitor position at Cartmell Shepherd and a secondment to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. As Counsel for BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, they provided legal advice on a variety of corporate and regulatory matters. John holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Durham and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, York, along with a Diplôme d'université in International Nuclear Law from Université Montpellier I.
