Kevin Murrell

Kevin Murrell, P.E. is a mechanical design engineer currently leading projects at Amentum, focusing on advanced precision landing technologies for NASA's SPLICE initiative. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Kevin has previously contributed to NASA's xEMU project and has experience in the aerospace and heavy lift industries. Before their role at Amentum, Kevin worked as an engineer at Mammoet, managing heavy lift planning, and served as a mechanical design intern at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they developed automation systems for assembly lines. Kevin is skilled in hardware design, rapid prototyping, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
