Mark Simmonds

Mark Simmonds is currently the AIR2025 PH6 CoA Surveillance IPT Lead and Amentum Engineering Operations Manager, focusing on the AIR2025-6 JORN midlife upgrade at WASS SPO, RAAF Edinburgh. Previously, Mark served in various roles within the Royal Australian Navy, including Weapons Electrical Engineering Officer and Aircraft Engineering Officer, and held positions at KBR, Inc. and Jacobs. Mark has also worked as a Project Engineering Manager at the Defence Materiel Organisation and was the Project Director for the ANZAC ASMD Upgrade Project at the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. Mark earned a Master of Business Administration in Complex Project Management from Queensland University of Technology and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering from RMIT University.
