Michael Gibbs

Michael Gibbs is an experienced aviation maintenance professional with a strong background in both military and civilian roles. Currently serving as Maintenance Control Supervisor at Vertex Aerospace since June 2021, Michael ensures compliance with government contracts and maintenance procedures in support of the Navy's Flight Training Program. Previously, Michael held the Scheduled Maintenance Supervisor position at Amentum, overseeing maintenance operations for Bell TH57 Sea Ranger Helicopters. Michael's extensive 30-year career in the US Navy included roles such as Department Leading Chief Petty Officer and Maintenance Master Chief Petty Officer, where responsibilities included managing flight operations, advising on aircraft maintenance, and serving as a senior enlisted advisor. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from the University of Management and Technology, earned between 2015 and 2018.
