Mike Halter is an engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in Aerospace and Defense, currently serving as the Group Manager at the Engineering Development Laboratory at Kennedy Space Center. Previously, Halter held significant roles at various companies, including Vice President of Engineering at Violet Defense Technology and Director of Engineering at Aerojet Rocketdyne, overseeing teams in the development of complex systems for both military and commercial applications. Halter's expertise encompasses New Product Development, Test Engineering, and Configuration Management, with a strong focus on mentoring engineering teams to ensure high-quality product outcomes. Halter earned a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering and Instrumentation from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Central Arkansas.
