Nathan Jimenez

Nathan Jimenez is currently a Lunar Surface Exploration Systems Engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center, where they focus on dust mitigation and control of lunar surface assets. Previously, from 2020 to 2024, Nathan served as a Mechanical Research Engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center, specializing in high temperature thermal barrier and lunar dust mitigation applications. They began their engineering career as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and have held various roles, including Design and Testing Engineer and Reliability Engineering Co-Op, where they achieved significant cost savings and productivity improvements. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics, graduating with a 3.9 GPA in 2018.
