Peter Nygaard

Peter Nygaard is an Emergency Management Manager at Amentum, currently contributing to the Security Operations and Emergency Management Team. They have a strong background in emergency management and have held various roles, including Advisor for the City of Onkaparinga from 2019 to 2022 and Senior Career Officer with SASES from 2005 to 2019, where they managed numerous incidents and led a large group of volunteers. Peter completed a Bachelor of Emergency Management with Distinction and has served as a Trainer and Assessor in various leadership and emergency response programs. Additionally, they are noted for developing the corporate Emerging Leaders Program in 2023.
