Queen Oppong

Queen Oppong is an accomplished professional with diverse experience in project management, research ethics, and community engagement. As a Youth Mentor at Illawarra Work Place Learning, Queen successfully coordinated fundraising efforts and resolved administrative challenges. Subsequent roles included Program Officer at the Department of Human Services, where Queen managed the National Redress Scheme process, and Senior Research Ethics Officer at the Australian Department of Defence, showcasing strong administrative and process optimization skills. As a Complaints Officer with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, Queen effectively managed complaint resolutions. Additional positions included Service Centre Team Leader at Services Australia and various project management roles at Projects Assured and Defence Australia, focusing on stakeholder engagement and data analysis. Queen is currently a Project Management Consultant at Amentum and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Health from Charles Sturt University and Victoria University, respectively.
