Richard Thacker

Richard Thacker is a Chartered Engineer and Programme Director in Defence and Security at Jacobs, with extensive experience in project and programme management. They previously held roles at companies such as Atkins, Halcrow, and Carillion, focusing on mechanical engineering and project leadership. Richard has contributed significantly to major programmes, including the Thames Tideway and HS2 projects, and has played a key role in transforming operations at CH2M HILL. Currently, they are involved with Amentum as a Programme Director, continuing to drive advancements in defence and asset solutions. Richard earned a BEng(Hons) from the University of Bath.
