Steve Bragg has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve has held roles in both the private and public sectors. Steve started their career in the US Navy, where they served from 1983 to 1998, taking on various positions in the Machinery Division and Engineering Department. In 1999, they transitioned to the civilian sector, working as a Plant Quality Assurance Supervisor at Tyson Foods for a brief period. Steve then joined URS Corporation, where they held multiple roles, including Operations Manager, Shift Plant Manager, and Maintenance Manager. Steve was also involved in projects such as the Linear Projectile Mortar Dissasembly Project and Static Detonation Chamber. In 2012, Steve joined AECOM as a Plant Manager, overseeing the development and use of Explosive Detonation Technology. During their tenure, they also served on the board of the CMRP, STS, SMRPCO. In recent years, Steve held a senior position at Amentum, where they served as the Senior Director of Operations. Additionally, they became a Board Member of AMENTUM FACILITY MANAGEMENT UK LTD. in 2020. Steve Bragg, PMP, CMRP earned a Master of Science degree in Maintenance and Reliability Engineering from Monash University from 2006 to 2009. Steve also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from the College of Charleston, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their educational background, Steve has obtained several certifications including Project Management Professional from PMI in 2013, Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional from SMRP in 2004, Safety Trained Supervisor from BCSP in 2008. Steve also holds certifications in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point from FDA and National Property Management Association, although the years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
