Stuart Codling

Stuart Codling serves as Group Director at Amentum since September 2024 and is a Management Board Member for the Fusion Industry Innovation Fund at the European Commission since February 2020. Prior to Amentum, Stuart held the position of Group Director at Jacobs from March 2020 to September 2024, overseeing global fusion activities, operations, delivery, business development, and P&L. Additionally, Stuart led business development efforts in the Fusion and Big Science markets at Jacobs. As Fusion Account Director at Wood from August 2018 to March 2020, Stuart managed strategy and customer relationships in the fusion sector. From December 2013 to August 2018, Stuart worked at Amec Foster Wheeler as Advanced Reactors Operations Manager and UK Government Key Account Manager, focusing on P&L and business development across advanced reactor initiatives. Stuart began a career in the nuclear sector as EDF Energy Account Manager and has extensive experience in reactor safety and performance management. Educationally, Stuart holds a degree in Mathematical Physics from The University of Manchester, completed in January 2000.
