David Meiners

David Meiners has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Director of Renewable Operations at Ameren since May 2007. Prior roles at Ameren include Manager of Wind Generation, Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Consulting Engineer, overseeing significant projects and managing multi-million dollar capital initiatives across various power plants. Additionally, David has experience as Interim Manager of the Maryland Heights Renewable Energy Center, where oversight of plant operations and union labor was required. Prior to Ameren, David was a Business Analyst at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, focusing on the development of applications that significantly boosted company revenue. An educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Purdue University.
