Matt Haffer

Matt Haffer, PE, PMP, has extensive experience in the electrical engineering and project management fields, with a career spanning nearly two decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Substation Construction at Ameren since June 2005, Matt leads a team focused on the planning and execution of substation projects. Previous roles at Ameren include Supervising Engineer for Budget & Project Management, Project Manager for large-scale projects over $10M, and Project Engineer handling design and implementation of substation equipment upgrades. Prior to Ameren, Matt worked as a Substation Design Engineer at Power Engineers, overseeing medium-sized projects. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA in Business Administration, all contributing to a strong foundation in both engineering and management.
