Daniel Smith

Daniel Smith has extensive professional experience spanning various leadership roles in business development, policy advisory, and community service. Currently, Smith serves as a Business Development Executive at Ameresco and holds the position of Treasurer for the Bridgewater State University Foundation Board, supporting the non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities at Bridgewater State University. As a founding director and board member of Strike Out Cancer, Smith contributes to fundraising efforts for families affected by cancer. Additionally, Smith has served as a Technical Advisor for the Massachusetts Municipal Association's Energy & Environmental Policy Committee, and has held various significant roles including Liaison to the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, Director of Business Development at J. Derenzo Companies, and Energy Executive at Siemens. Smith's involvement in local governance includes serving as Chair of the Economic Development Council and Selectman in the Town of Easton. Educationally, Smith studied at Northeastern University from 1999 to 2002.
