Greg Caplan

Greg Caplan is currently working at Ameresco as the Vice President - Federal Business Development. In this role, they are responsible for cleantech project development, energy infrastructure modernization, efficiency, resiliency, and operations and maintenance for both Federal and commercial clients. Greg has successfully secured over $2B in competitive selections and new awards since 2014, working with various Federal agencies such as the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, General Services Administration (GSA), Veterans Administration, Bureau of Prisons, and others. Additionally, Caplan is involved in ongoing resiliency and microgrid projects with the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and GSA. Prior to joining Ameresco, Caplan worked at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Program Manager from 2005 to 2014.

Greg Caplan has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Modern European History from Georgetown University. Greg also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in German and European Studies from the same university. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Georgia.
