Patrick Cyr is a seasoned Health and Safety Manager with extensive experience in risk management across various industries. Currently at Ameresco since 2015, Patrick leads user-based safety and risk systems for energy asset operations, emphasizing strategic analysis, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Previously, at Cascades from 2009 to 2015, Patrick managed health and safety for a network of manufacturing plants. As Risk Manager at The Portland Press Herald from 2004 to 2008, Patrick significantly reduced lost time and costs through an award-winning workers compensation program. Patrick founded Essential Risk Solutions in 2002, developing a risk assessment tool for whitewater rafting, and served as Regional Risk Control Manager at SUPERVALU from 1996 to 2002, establishing risk programming at distribution centers.
