Stephen Mahon

Stephen Mahon has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades across various companies and roles. Stephen is currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at AMERGINT Technologies since August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Verizon for 14 years as a Distinguished Software Engineer, focusing on Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and leading a team of developers and support personnel.

From 2000 to 2005, Stephen worked at IBM as a Middleware Architect, where they participated in projects for Enterprise Application Integration design, development, and implementation. Their customer engagements included well-known organizations such as Qwest Communications, Warner Bros, and the Federal Department of Education.

Before joining IBM, Stephen gained experience at MCI Communications as an Associate Software Engineer, where they were responsible for full-cycle software development for an enterprise-wide client/server middleware API. Stephen played a key role in designing and developing a proprietary message queuing system.

Stephen's career began at Digital System Resources in 1991, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and worked on real-time signal processing computer programs for submarine deployed passive sonar systems. Prior to that, they worked at E-Systems as a Software Engineer, focusing on real-time computer programs for COMINT and ELINT collection systems.
